Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary

• The Procurement Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos.
• This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing suppliers, requesting and reviewing quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
• Day-to-day tasks include evaluating supplier performance, negotiating prices, managing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
• The Procurement Manager will collaborate with operations, finance, and other team members, optimize cost, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• The role also involves monitoring market trends, identifying new suppliers, mitigating supply risks, and continuously improving procurement processes and standards.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates should have proven experience in a procurement or supply chain role withing the FMCG and must have worked in a procurement department of a Supermarket.
• Candidates should possess strong Procurement and Supplier Evaluation skills to manage sourcing, assess vendor capabilities, and support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Candidates should possess good negotiation skills and understand the local markets where items are sought from.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, compare bids, track spend, and support evidence-based decision making.
• Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with procurement or spreadsheets, and general office productivity tools.
• Candidates should show strong organizational skills, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines on-site in Ajah, Lagos.

Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 per month based on experience.
