We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Manager

Locations: Minna – Niger & Ilorin / Offa – Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall strategy of the purchasing department, formulate purchasing plan and budget, and optimise the supplier resource pool.
• Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management
• Leading bulk purchase negotiation,, ensuring supply chain stability and cost control.
• Delegating tasks and supervising the work of Purchasing
• Identifying emerging markets to find new opportunities
• Document and report on daily operations and production metrics
• Supervise the operation of the business team and dispatching team (customer maintenance, procurement negotiation, fleet dispatching).

Requirements

• Must be a BSc/HND holder in Purchasing/Supply, Marketing or any Mining related courses
• Must be computer literate
• Must have a cognate experience in sales/procurement (at least 3 years)
• Must have worked or have experience in a mining firm
• Must have managerial experience with good quality leadership traits.
