Responsibilities

• This role requires the officer to manage commercial and supply aspects of projects.
• Work with team members in conducting general market research in various categories as well as research into potential suppliers, product specification and resources.
• He would also be required to participate in field-level planning formulation and to provide technical/operational support on local/foreign procurement.

Requirements
Applicants must possess the following:

• B.Sc./HND with a Science background in Engineering (related to Mechanical or Material & Metallurgical Engineering) with the minimum of 2nd class upper.
• Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply Management of Nigeria.
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in any major player in the Oil & Gas Industry in similar roles or position.
• Demonstrate Proficiency in Computer Skills, including all M.S Office Suites & Project.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems.
• Ability to understand technical specifications.
• Must be a team player as he/she will be expected to interact with line staff and other support services.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and under pressure.
• Must be multi-tasking, analytical and problem solving.
