Job Title: Procurement and Field Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Description

• Coordinates all activities related to procurement of a commodity beginning with intent to purchase through delivery
• Analyzes the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed
• Determine strategic supply objectives using tools and reports for decision making around products and commodity purchases
• Manages vendor relations and supplier development with selected vendors
• Manages quality control, product rejections and resolves vendor disputes
• Assures that the commodity is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and meets the quality standard of the company
• Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate retention of records
• Provides in-depth market information, supply base activities to management
• Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties
• Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. Degree / HND / OND in Supply Chain or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as a procurement Officer in agricultural commodities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Willingness to travel on official duties.
