Job Title: Procurement Excellence Manager

Location: Ososa, Ogun

Job Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of local and foreign procurement from negotiation to delivery.
• Identify and build good relationships with local and foreign suppliers and manufacturers of raw materials and spare parts to ensure uninterrupted supplies.
• Create and maintain a robust and reliable database of registered vendors, contractors and suppliers, with a logical and objective framework for identifying preferred suppliers at any point in time.
• Ensure the transformation and continuous improvement in local and foreign procurement process and performance, in line with business requirements.
• Establish and ensure effective compliance with procurement policy, procedure and processes and initiate necessary update as may be required.
• Promote best practices in contract management and professional management of contracts and contractors, as well as champion the implementation of the Contract Management System in the company.
• Proactively work with departmental heads to determine their procurement requirements, and expedite the process towards fulfilling such needs without disruptions to the business and negative impact on profitability.
• Deploy proper monitoring system and control of procurement processes including organization of tender documents, receipt and evaluation of quotations, bids or proposals, negotiation of certain conditions of contracts in full compliance with the company’s rules and regulations.

Job Requirements

• First Degree or its equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, Economics or other relevant discipline.
• Professional Certification in Procurement is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and Contract Management in FMCG industry is required.
