Job Title: Principal Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

• A Principal Mechanical Engineer eads the design, development, and validation of complex mechanical systems from concept to production, serving as a top technical expert and mentor.
• They drive innovation, solve high-level engineering challenges, and ensure compliance with quality standards, while guiding cross-functional teams to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead mechanical design, analysis (FEA/CFD), and prototyping for advanced products.
• Project Strategy: Define product architecture, technical roadmaps, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Design & Analysis: Perform and review complex engineering calculations, 3D modeling (SolidWorks/Creo), and simulations.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance, coaching, and technical oversight to junior and senior engineers.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, manufacturing, and product management.
• Compliance & Testing: Ensure designs meet industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO) and oversee testing/validation protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of product development.
• Expertise: Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, Siemens NX) and FEA/simulation software.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
