Job Title: Primary School Physical and Health Education (PHE) Teacher

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Physical and Health Education lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
• Teach physical fitness, sports, health education, personal hygiene, and wellness concepts.
• Organize and supervise sporting activities, fitness programs, and inter-house competitions.
• Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among students.
• Assess students’ physical and theoretical performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure student safety during physical activities and maintain appropriate safety standards.
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and internal examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of student participation, achievement, and progress.

Requirements

• Degree in Physical and Health Education, Human Kinetics, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification may be required.
• Experience teaching PHE at the secondary school level is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sports, fitness, and health education principles.
• Good classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activities and healthy living practices.
• First Aid certification is an added advantage.
• TRCN certification is an added advantage.
