We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Primary School Mathematics Teacher

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities 

• Understanding curriculum requirements and creating lesson plans and educational content that satisfy these requirements.
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials that support foundational numeracy skills.
• Use interactive and creative teaching methods to foster interest in Mathematics.
• Prepare pupils for internal and external assessments, including checkpoint exams and Mathematics competitions where applicable.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of international curricula (e.g., British Curriculum, Cambridge Primary).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young learners.
• TRCN certification is an added advantage.
