Job Description

• As the Poultry Farm Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our poultry farming operations, ensuring the health and welfare of our birds, and optimizing production efficiency.
• This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of poultry farming practices, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of biosecurity and animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the poultry farm, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of the birds.
• Implement and manage biosecurity measures to prevent disease and ensure the health of the flock.
• Supervise and train farm staff, ensuring all team members adhere to safety and operational protocols.
• Monitor and manage the environmental conditions within poultry houses, including temperature, ventilation, and lighting.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and other professionals for health checks, vaccinations, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate records of production, feed consumption, mortality rates, and other relevant data.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and achieve operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to poultry farming.
• Prepare and submit reports on farm operations and performance to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).
