We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Plumber

Location: Maba, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain all plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures across the school facilities.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Assist in the installation of new plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations in all plumbing-related tasks.
• Work closely with other maintenance personnel (electricians, carpenters, etc.) to support overall facility upkeep.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and perform routine checks on water systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Monitor and ensure adequate water supply across school buildings and manage water-related utilities efficiently.
• Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and material usage.
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and coordinate quick resolutions.
• Liaise with vendors and the Procurement department to request and restock plumbing supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/Trade Test or relevant certification in Plumbing or Building Services.
• 3+ years of practical plumbing experience in a large facility, preferably in an educational institution or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
• A strong sense of responsibility, safety consciousness, and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
