Job Title: Plant Operator

Location: Calabar, Cross River

What will you be doing
Your work will focus on these main responsibilities:

• Gas Power Plant Operation and Maintenance.
• Independently handling the Shift operations of Power Plant.
• Starting of Gas Engines, Synchronization of engines. Island and Parallel mode of Operation with other engines.
• Avoiding of plant black outs. In case of emergency must know to recover the power plant with minimum time during plant blackout situation.
• Preparation of Shift, Daily, Weekly, and Incident Reports.
• Starting and stopping of Engine Auxiliary equipment’s- Like, LO Separators, Starting Air Compressors, IA Compressors, LFO/Honeyeaters, RO Plant and Fire Hydrant Operations.
