Job Title:  Planner / Scheduler (Civil Projects)

Summary

• We are seeking a competent and detail-driven Planner/Scheduler to support the planning, monitoring, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
• The ideal candidate must be exceptionally skilled in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and MS Excel — with proven experience in developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing critical insight for timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and graphs for presentation purposes.
• Update schedules with physical progress, manpower utilization, and man-hour expenditures.
• Monitor, prepare, and report project progress using S-Curve and other monitoring tools.
• Prepare weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules for site teams and management.
• Monitor site progress to identify deviations, delays, and potential risks.
• Recommend corrective action plans to address schedule slippages or inconsistencies.
• Highlight and update the Project Manager on critical activities and the critical path.
• Manage the Critical Path Method (CPM) to ensure project schedules are met.
• Provide accurate project forecasts, resource plans, and schedule analyses.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years proven experience as a Planner/Scheduler in civil construction projects.
• Certification in Project Management will be an added advantage
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Project and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and forecasting capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver reliable reports consistently.
