We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Placement Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • To generate and convert potential leads or students into registered ISP clients and provide effective counseling on applications and visas in order to get them to their study destination (UK, Canada, USA, Europe, Australia, Dubai, and others).
  • Reporting line Placement Manager Core Working Relationships Placement Manager, Lead Consultant, and partner institutions.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Carry out sales and recruitment activities to generate new leads
  • Maintain active social media presence leveraging it to generate leads and registrations
  • To conduct outreach work including visits to appropriate international schools, colleges and universities to expand recruitment opportunities.
  • To identify and attend conferences and events with potentials for student recruitment
  • Promptly deal with student enquiries from all sources (website, emails, social media, telephone, referrals, face-to-face and others)
  • Provide appropriate counselling to prospective applicants on suitable courses and study options at the various study destinations
  • Maintain at least 60% conversion of leads (enquiries) into registrations (clients)
  • Provide a comprehensive support service to applicants during the course and visa application processes
  • Client relationship management – focus on winning prospective customers as well as maintaining relationship with existing ones
  • Manage and handle customer relations, feedbacks and complaints including providing management with customer feedbacks
  • Assist in the development of new strategic recruitment activities and services through gathering market intelligence
  • To provide regular (weekly) reports to management regarding recruitment activities and other service delivery factors affecting the business operations.
  • Achieve agreed targets
  • Other duties that may be assigned by management.

Desirable

  • Tertiary education – HND / BSc
  • 1 year work experience.
  • Knowledge of basic sales and marketing principles
  • Knowledge of the international higher education market
  • Marketing Professional certification will be added advantage Personal Qualities
  • Well-presented and professional demeanor
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • Organized and methodical
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team player and ability to work with little or no supervision

Role Requirements Skills and Knowledge Essential:

  • Ability to utilize and optimize social media platforms and I.T infrastructures for marketing and networking
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Proficient in basic use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to travel
