Job Title: Packaging Maintenance Controller – Mechanical

Summary

• The Key Purpose of this role is to co-ordinate, coach and control the activities of the level one maintenance teams in the production environment and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintaining the integrity and security of maintenance systems.
• Developing and maintaining documentation as well as its integrity. Coach, guide and assist with training of all maintenance staff.
• Assist with ensuring that system architecture environment remains aligned with the regional asset care strategy and beer division standards.
• Developing a strong understanding of the relevant SAP system modules. Organizing the systems and business preparations for SAP take-on procedures.
• Maintain packaging maintenance integrity.
• Plan and implement maintenance priorities.
• Manage Maintenance performance indicators.
• Optimise plant availability.
• Sharing of learning’s internally and throughout the division.
• Conduct administration.
• Support continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• B.Eng / HND Mechanical Engineering
• At least 4 years experience within a maintenance environment, preferably with some supervisory experience
• Detailed mechanical knowledge of plant with in-depth understanding of electrical and instrumentation aspects
• PC literacy (Microsoft office package/SAP)•Trade Test will be advantageous.
