Seven-Up Bottling Company Ltd is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Nigeria, producing and distributing some of the nation’s most- loved beverages in the country like; Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, Teem, Mountain Dew, H2oH!, Lipton Ice Tea and Aquafina premium drinking water. SBC has recently entered into Home & Personal Care category with the 2SURE brand and launched its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitizer. Seven Up boasts of nine bottling plants with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located across various regions in the country.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Operations Manager

Location: Kano
Industry: FMCG

Job Summary / Business Need

  • The IT Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing IT operations and providing effective technical support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline technical support for laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and ERP systems to ensure minimal downtime and uninterrupted business operations.
  • Oversee all IT-related activities at the site.
  • Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, including OS deployment, system upgrades, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve software, login, and Active Directory access issues.
  • Support network and shared printers, including driver configuration and scan-to-email/folder troubleshooting.
  • Provide first-line ERP support, resolving user access issues and transaction errors while escalating system bugs when necessary (SAP and other business applications).
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and email configuration (Google environment).
  • Log and resolve incidents through a helpdesk system, ensuring SLA compliance and user satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and VPN access.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+.
  • Microsoft Certified Modern Desktop Administrator and Google Platforms.
  • ITIL Foundation (for service management environments).
  • 3–5 years of experience in end-user technical support.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Experience managing user accounts in Active Directory.
  • Basic understanding of networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, VPN).
