Honour Flow Group of Company is a diverse conglomerate with a strong presence across multiple sectors. The company owns EJ Eatery, located in Ughelli and Sapele, offering quality dining services. It also manages Elo Trease Warehouse in Ughelli, providing essential storage solutions. In the manufacturing and production space, the group operates Elo Water in Otokutu, Warri, and EJ Bakery in Warri. Additionally, Honour Flow owns Elo Ice Cream, delivering sweet treats, alongside a fuel station and gas station serving the energy needs of the community. The group also holds Revelation Bank in Ughelli, contributing to the financial sector.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Oil Marketer

Location: Ughelli, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are looking for an Oil Marketer who will be responsible for promoting and selling oil products to various clients and markets.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the oil industry, market trends, and customer needs.
  • This role involves developing marketing strategies, building strong relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.
  • The Oil Marketer will collaborate closely with suppliers, distributors, and internal teams to maximize sales and market share.
  • Additionally, the role requires monitoring competitor activities and adjusting marketing plans accordingly. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential to succeed in this position.
  • The Oil Marketer will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the energy sector, contributing directly to the company’s growth and profitability.
  • Candidates should be proactive, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or the oil and gas industry is highly preferred.
  • The role may require travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Overall, the Oil Marketer plays a crucial role in driving the commercial success of oil products and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective marketing and sales efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for oil products
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities
  • Coordinate with suppliers and distributors to ensure product availability
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts
  • Attend industry events and trade shows
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing and sales efforts
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Maintain a portfolio of existing clients and ensure customer retention through timely follow-ups and excellent service.
  • Develop marketing strategies to increase sales volume and brand visibility.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of sales transactions and timely reporting.
  • Liaise with logistics and depot personnel to ensure prompt product delivery to customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide feedback to management on market developments and customer insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Proven experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the oil industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze market data and trends
  • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
