We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Officer

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Job type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assess and recommend new technologies to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, equipment, and applications.
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliable backup and recovery processes.
• Implement and maintain IT security protocols, firewalls, and antivirus protection.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and user access records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported IT incidents in a timely manner.
• Support staff onboarding and training on IT tools and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar IT Officer role in a financial institution
• Must be based in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State

Skills:

• Proficiency in operating systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools, data backup systems, and cloud technologies is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA are added advantages.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Attention to minute details
• A strong team player.
