Description 

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Officer to join our team. The IT Officer will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.
• This role requires a strong understanding of IT principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional user support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ensure the security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls.
• Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT needs.
• Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies.
• Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
• Carry out staff training.
• Any other task that may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support or administration.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
