Job Description

  • To drive digitization of PPB clients’ lending products, dimension and quantify digital loans qualifying & scoring parameters ensuring alignment with risk appetite, analyse and quality-assure lending/scoring models & scripts; and seeing to the end-to-end of credit life cycle of the digital loan offerings from origination to collections.
  • This includes portfolio management, timely surfacing of potential risks, whether due to technological, design or operational failings, and overall growth & support of new digital lending frontiers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of First Degree in Social Sciences / Physical Sciences / Technology.
  • Qualification in Salesforce Data Analytics /Data Science /ACA /ACIB /ACCA
  • 8-10 years’ experience of process development, data analysis and risk analysis. Experience in credit decisioning, product and credit portfolio management will be very key.

Additional Information:

  • The jobholder will provide input to the country credit scored lending strategies and help shape the requirements based on data availability and intended business outcomes and risk appetite (e. g. develop new logical decision models to calculate average expected credit turnover in the last 6 to 12 months which will be deployed in various ways by the Analysts).
  • Create new decision strategies and logical solutions based on business and credit requirements in each country and product (e.g. combine a different set of rules (arrears, excesses and other poor credit behaviour to resolve a more complex business/credit rules).
  • Interpreting data, credit rules and strategies and creating a logical rule set to deliver the required scored lending limits.
  • The jobholder will have to define new methods of problem-solving logic to customise solutions per products and provide guidance to the junior team members to create new or revised solutions automation. (e.g. build logic/new rules based on new data sources and business requirements).
  • Designs, develops, quality assures and implements complex credit scoring solutions.
  • Leads designs of new end to end data processes for Digital Loans and Credit Scoring Solutions in partnership with relevant Country and Centre team.
  • Sets criteria and parameters in order to monitor trends and variances of implemented designs and where necessary recommends corrective action.
  • Performs quality assurance (QA) for all functional/technical specification documents and provide consultancy.
  • Ensures data requirements to execute on lending criteria are correctly defined and mapped within the various strategies including scorecards, policy rules, affordability calculations etc.
  • Interrogate test data and perform interactive testing in the customer decision engine.
  • Analyses and interprets outcomes of the decision automation and resolves all errors.
  • Performs testing walkthrough with country stakeholders to enable User acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Supports country stakeholders through the testing process and resolve any defects which may arise.
  • Identifies defects and ensures that they are prioritised for correction.
  • Monitors post implementation reviews to ensure the accuracy of the credit decisioning.
