We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Officer

Location: Apapa Oshodi Expreessway, Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to the Automotive IT Manager in project execution and closure
• Perform resolution of IT related hardware, software and network issues within Automotive entities
• Assist in the receipt of IT related hardware, software and network issues
• Analyze and/or resolve hardware, software, and application problems
• Participate in IT project planning and execution
• Gather information necessary for service performance evaluation against IT Unit Core Business objectives
• Analyze, detects, identifies and correct technical problems and deficiencies, ranging from network issues, collaboration tools and business applications
• Maintain up-to-date record on Network infrastructure
• Maintain up-to-date IT asset database
• Create and maintain activity log report indicating problem and solution
• Rotation of backup tapes
• Prepare and submit periodic activity/ reports to the IT Manager
• Resolve IT Projects related issues and attend to service requests from employees within Automotive divisions
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the IT Manager
• Provide first level support for ERP issues
• Provide adequate support for Microsoft 365 Productivity and collaboration tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• BA / B.Sc. or equivalent in Information Technology or related discipline
• 3 years cognate experience

Skills:

• Strong understanding of Network Infrastructure, configuration of routers and switches, knowledge of VOIP will be an advantage
• Server Infrastructure-Windows Server Roles and Features
• Great knowledge of Windows 10
• Microsoft collaboration tools (Outlook, Forms, Teams, etc.)
• CCNA and MCITP or other relevant certifications will be an advantage
• Good understanding of IT Service Management process and tools
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Excellent problem-solving skill, must possess an analytical mind
• Excellent customer centric attitude
• Business application Knowledge.
