Job Title: NYSC HR Intern

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NYSC HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This role offers hands-on experience in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative support.
• The ideal candidate must still be actively serving and have a minimum of 10 months remaining in their NYSC program, as well as reside within close proximity to Lekki Phase 1.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
• Support onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation and orientation
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
• Assist in organizing staff engagement activities and events
• Provide administrative support to the HR team
• Handle basic employee inquiries and escalate when necessary
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive HR information

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the NYSC program with at least 10-11 months remaining
• Must reside in or near Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
