BARIEL Medical Center is a newly established modern acute-care hospital located in the Port Harcourt, Rivers State. BMC provides General Medical and Surgical healthcare services (outpatient and inpatient) with consultations and specialized services for the whole family (Adults and Pediatric).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nurse / Midwife (RN-RM)

Location: Rivers

Job Description

• Provide nursing care for routine and emergency cases
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide for treatments according to physician’s orders
• Provide perinatal, medical and surgical day to day nursing care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed nursing documentation on medical, (outpatient and inpatient), maternity, and surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during operations and provide nursing wound care.

Requirements

• Candidates must be a double-qualified Nurse (i.e. RN-RM) and possess current practicing nursing licenses as both a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) registered with Nursing Council of Nigeria.
• Possess a 1 – 2 years post-NYSC in-hospital work experience.
• Only candidate residing (or relocating to) near the hospital premises will be considered.

Salary
N60,000 – N80,000 Monthly.
