Job Title: Nurse / Medical Officer

Location: Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Part-time
Reports To: Student Welfare & Protection Coordinator

About the Role

• The Nurse / Medical Officer provides basic medical care, health monitoring, and first response for all students and resident staff.
• She supports the Student Welfare & Protection Coordinator in maintaining the physical health and welfare of the residential community, and ensures that any medical concerns are promptly identified, treated, or referred to appropriate external providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic medical care, first aid, and health monitoring for all students
• Maintain a well-stocked clinic and manage medical supplies and records
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medical administration records
• Refer students to appropriate external medical providers when required
• Conduct regular health checks and support good hygiene and nutrition practices among students
• Advise the Student Welfare & Protection Coordinator on health and medical matters
• Contribute to health education as part of the academic programme, where applicable

What we are looking for

• A female qualified nurse or medical officer currently registered with the relevant professional body in Nigeria
• Experience in a residential, school, or community health setting
• Calm, caring, and discreet
• Alignment with Catholic values and the mission of the Centre
• A Police Character Certificate and satisfactory reference checks.
