Job Title: National Sales Manager (FMCG / Food Manufacturing)

About the Role

• Our client seeks an experienced National Sales Manager to establish and lead its national sales operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for building distribution networks, managing sales teams, developing strategic customer relationships and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute national sales strategies and distribution plans.
• Establish and manage distributor, sub distributor and wholesale networks.
• Drive general trade, modern trade and key account development.
• Recruit, lead and manage regional and field sales teams.
• Establish territory targets, sales reporting and performance monitoring.
• Drive revenue, volume, market penetration and collections.
• Manage sales forecasting, stock availability and distributor performance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive FMCG sales experience.
• At least 5 years leading regional, multi regional or national sales operations.
• Proven experience managing distributors, wholesalers and key accounts.
• Demonstrable success in revenue growth, distribution expansion and sales team management.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian general trade and open markets.
• Experience in pricing, margins, credit management and collections.
• Seasonings and packaged food experience is preferred. Candidates from other FMCG categories with strong transferable distribution and product launch experience will also be considered.

Salary
N2,500,000 per month.
