We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: National / Continental Cook

Location: Ilupeju / Palm Grove, Lagos

Description

• A National / Continental Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of local (national) and international (continental) dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of local and continental dishes according to the restaurant or hotel menu.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet the establishment’s standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the kitchen in line with food safety regulations.
• Manage food preparation, seasoning, and cooking processes efficiently.
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor or management.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients to avoid spoilage and wastage.
• Assist in menu planning and development when required.
• Ensure timely preparation of meals, especially during busy service periods.
• Follow all health, safety, and kitchen procedures.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.
