Job Title: Mortgage Analyst

Location: Lagos

Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven persons to join its team.
• We are looking for a qualified professional with strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and mortgage transaction experience to support property financing and mortgage lending operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse mortgage applications, income, credit profiles, financial capacity, and repayment ability.
• Conduct credit assessments, affordability analysis, and underwriting.
• Review property documentation, valuation reports, and title documents.
• Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal reports and recommendations for approval.
• Manage mortgage applications throughout the entire process.
• Liaise with commercial banks, mortgage institutions, valuers, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate mortgage financing.
• Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements, lending policies, and internal controls.
• Advise prospective homeowners on mortgage options, eligibility criteria, repayment structures, and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a commercial bank or mortgage bank.
• Proven experience in residential property financing and mortgage transactions.
• Strong analytical, financial assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of mortgage lending processes.

Salary
N500,000 – N800,000 monthly net.
