We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant

Location: Benue
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Assist the M&E officer to in daily and weekly entry of service provision on the National OVC Management Information System (NOMIS).
  • Must be conversant with the OVC project and understand the healthy, stable, safe and schooled domains of graduation.
  • Work with the M&E and case managers and Health Facilities, to identify and ensure the enrolment of beneficiaries and saturation of enrolment across the CLHIV, HEI, and other enrolment streams.
  • Assist the M&E to carry out periodic analysis, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or as may be required in order to make projections on Programme implementation status, challenges/lapses, proffer remediation plan and monitor implementation status.
  • Work with M&E to ensure prompt submission of all data reporting templates including the CSO Score Card, Care and Support Templates, reporting and custom indicators templates as well as other templates as may be requested by the funders/FRED from time to time.
  • Work closely with the M&E, POs and Case Managers to provide technical guidance in setting Programme targets and tracking achievement of targets during the course of the Programme.
  • Work with the M&E to carry out periodic data triangulation and DQAs to ensure data concurrence between the relevant DCTs/Source documents and the NOMIS database.
  • Assist the M&E to carry out periodic folder audit and household verification.
  • Ensure good record keeping of data capture tools (DCTs), tracking movement of case files andsafeguarding of case files

Qualification / Experience

  • HND / NCE / ND in Social Science, pure sciences, or Arts with at least two years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in an OVC organization.
  • Proficiency in data processing and analysis is a key competency for the position.
  • Must have great speed on data entry.
