Job Title: Mobile & Laravel Backend Developer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Mid-Level Mobile and Laravel Backend Developer with strong experience in mobile application development and backend engineering using Laravel (PHP).
• The successful candidate will collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to build user-friendly mobile applications supported by robust, secure, and scalable backend APIs.
• This role requires someone who can contribute to both the mobile user experience and backend architecture, ensuring seamless interaction between mobile interfaces and server-side systems.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Development:

• Develop and maintain mobile applications (native or cross-platform) that deliver smooth, intuitive, and high-performance user experiences.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into responsive and accessible mobile interfaces.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services built using Laravel.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure stable and reliable releases.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

Laravel Backend Development:

• Develop, maintain, and improve backend APIs using Laravel to support mobile applications.
• Design and implement database schemas, business logic, and secure authentication systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and scalable code with strong attention to performance and security.
• Build RESTful APIs to enable efficient communication between mobile applications and backend services.
• Manage database migrations, version control, and deployment processes.
• Implement caching, queues, and event-driven processes to improve system performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Experiences

Mobile Development Skills:

• 2–4+ years of experience building mobile applications using:
  • Cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native, OR
  • Native technologies such as Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android).
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and development best practices.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs.

Laravel Backend Skills:

• 2–4+ years of professional experience working with the Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and modern backend development practices.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs using Laravel.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Laravel components including:
  • Eloquent ORM
  • Database migrations
  • Middleware
  • Authentication systems
  • API development

General Development Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of automated testing frameworks, including PHPUnit and mobile testing tools.
• Basic familiarity with deployment workflows and DevOps practices, including:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Docker
  • Cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean, Plesk).
