Job Title: Mining Engineer

Location: Warra, Ngaski LGA – Kebbi
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are seeking a qualified and hands-on Mining Engineer to support our operations in Ngaski, Kebbi State.
• This role is ideal for a technically sound professional who can contribute to efficient and safe mining operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Work along side the mining operations team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in site activities, including drilling, blasting, excavation, and haulage.
• Monitor ore extraction processes and ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct site inspections and submit technical reports to the Mines Supervisor.
• Collaborate with geology, processing, and operations teams to meet production targets.
• Support cost control initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Carry out any other responsibility that may be assigned by Superiors.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering.
• COMEG (Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists) certification is mandatory
• 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience in mining operations.
• Experience in lithium or solid minerals mining is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of mining methods, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a remote site environment.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
