Apple & Pears Limited was incorporated in the year 2012 as an Agro-Allied & food industry to produce soya meal, concentrate and finished feed for the poultry, and refined edible oil, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad cream, vinegar, and custard powder for the Nigerian market. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mill Operator

Job Description

• You will be responsible for the safely and efficiently operation of machines in themill, panels and computers to ensure that the feedis milled and graded according to predetermined specification.
• You will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe work environment through compliance with all company/ state rules and regulations.
• Operate machines in the feedmill so as to get the best quality feed.
• You will be responsible for Adjusting gate in spout to regulate the flow of feedinto the machine keeping in view the load on the driving electric motor.
• You will be responsible starting the machine for each operation or production batch.
• You will be responsible for stopping the machine safely at the conclusion of each operation or production batch,
• You will be responsible for adjusting feedmilling equipment when required to ensure rice is processed in accordance with specifications.
• Perform routine cleaning of sieves and replacement of rubber rolls as at when required.
• Close observation and careful handling of motors, rubbers and other sensitive equipment parts of the plant.
• All other duties and functions as you may be directed to do or which may be required of you from time to time by the office.
• To carry out preventive maintenance measure before commencement of milling.

Job Requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of an SSCE qualification.
• 2 – 5 years work experience in a similar role.

Salary
N70,000 – N100,000 Monthly.
