Job Title: MID Software Developer

Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time (On-site)

Position Overview

  • We seek a motivated and detail-oriented MID Software Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.
  • You will work closely with senior developers and project managers to implement software solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement software applications using programming languages such as PHP, LAREVEL, NODE
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in software development. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Assist in the creation of unit tests and perform debugging to identify and resolve software defects. Participate in testing phases to ensure functionality and performance meet specifications.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the software development process, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and quality assurance, to gather requirements and ensure alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and contribute to team knowledge.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing applications, including troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary updates and enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or HND, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as PHP, LAREVEL, NODE

Main knowledge, Tailwind CSS:

  • Extensive understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL or NoSQL).
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
