Job Title: Medical Records Officer (Health Information Officer)

Location: Tarauni, Kano

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and safeguard accurate patient medical records (physical and electronic).
• Ensure timely documentation, retrieval, and updating of patient health information.
• Enforce data confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with clinical, billing, and insurance teams to support accurate service documentation.
• Audit medical records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Support billing and claims processes through proper coding and documentation.
• Maintain efficient filing systems and improve records management workflows.

Requirements

• Interested candidate should possess a ND/HND in Health Information Management with 1-3 years experience.
• Proximity to Tarauni, Kano State is a must.
