Ekiti State College of Technology, Ijero-Ekiti (formerly College of Health Sciences and Technology) was recently upgraded to a Polytechnic following the signing into law of the upgrade bill by the Governor of Ekiti State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on 23rd December, 2025.

Job Title: Medical Officer

Location: Ijero-Ekiti, Ekiti

Job Description

• The Medical Officer is required to provide leadership to the officers working in the Polytechnic Health Centre.
• He is required to hold consultation with patients visiting the Polytechnic Health Centre for diagnosis and prescribe required interventions.
• He is expected to provide such general practices as may be appropriate for a tertiary institution.

Qualifications

• A candidate for the post of Medical Officer must possess an M.B.B.S and be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• The candidate must have observed the mandatory NYSC service, evidenced by the discharge certificate.
