Role Overview

• The Medical Officer will provide comprehensive clinical care, support preventive health initiatives, and contribute to the hospital’s mission of delivering high‑quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patient examinations and health assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of medical conditions and injuries.
• Prescribe medications with clear instructions for safe use.
• Perform minor surgical and clinical procedures when required.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Provide health education and lifestyle counselling to patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Stay informed on current medical practices and participate in professional development.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• MBBS Degree with full registration and certification by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Current practicing license.
• Minimum of 1 year post‑NYSC clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement.
