Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Summary

• Are you a motivated and meticulous Laboratory Technician with a desire to support life-saving diagnostics? Afrilab Medical Diagnostics invites applications from qualified candidates to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist scientists in carrying out laboratory tests and sample processing.
• Prepare and label specimens and reagents.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Record and organize test data accurately.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and biosafety compliance.
• Support stock management by monitoring supply levels and requesting replenishments.

Requirements

• National Diploma (ND) or equivalent in Science Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Technician Certificate, or related field.
• Certification and license from MLSCN (for licensed technicians).
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a clinical or diagnostic lab.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
