We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to support accurate diagnosis and quality patient care through laboratory testing and analysis.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests
  • Analyze samples and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of laboratory activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
  • Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of laboratory reagents and supplies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a hospital or diagnostic setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
