Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician with experience in diesel generator maintenance who is also a competent driver.
• The successful candidate will support the Aftersales team by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on generators while ensuring the safe transportation of personnel, tools, and equipment to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Conduct routine inspections and prepare service reports.
• Drive company vehicles to customer locations while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations.
• Support generator installation, commissioning, and emergency service activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition.

Requirements

• OND, Trade Test, or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in diesel generator maintenance.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s licence with a good driving record.
• Good troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Willingness to travel within and outside Lagos when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
