The company has invested millions of dollars in land, building, construction of infrastructural facilities and machinery, with one goal in mind and that is to have an integrated facility encompassing the complete value chain of the soya bean business, from sourcing, processing, extraction, refining, packaging and distribution of a wide range of premium products. Job Title: Mechanical Technician (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Mechanical Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of production and packaging equipment within our food processing facility. The successful candidate will ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime of machinery, particularly packaging and seasoning equipment.

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair VFFS (Vertical Form Fill Seal) machines, food seasoning machines, and other food packaging equipment
• Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform timely repairs to minimize production downtime
• Ensure equipment operates in compliance with safety and operational standards
• Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and spare parts documentation
• Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new machines
• Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment efficiency and reliability
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline
• 2–5 years’ hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician in the FMCG or food processing industry
• Proven experience operating, maintaining, and repairing VFFS machines, food seasoning machines, and food packaging equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Residency Requirement:

• Candidates must reside in Sagamu, Ogun State, or nearby environs.

Salary
N180,000 monthly.
