Job Description

• We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our production team in Ijebu Imushin, Ogun State, supporting the efficient operation of our cocoa processing plant by ensuring all mechanical equipment is maintained to the highest standard and production downtime is minimized.
• The role will involve carrying out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on a wide range of production equipment, including conveyors, pumps, boilers, elevators, fans, compressors, hydraulic systems, and packaging machinery.
• You will troubleshoot mechanical faults, perform equipment servicing and repairs, and ensure all plant machinery operates safely and efficiently.
• This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical technician who enjoys hands-on maintenance, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate should possess an OND/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with at least five (5) years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, preventive maintenance practices, equipment alignment, welding and workshop tools, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Applicants should be not more than 40 years of age.
