We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Technician, M / F

Location: Amadi Base, Port Harcourt – Rivers
Contract type: Permanent Contract

Roles and Responsibilities

• To ensure efficiency and effectiveness of base mechanical equipment and services.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for all base mechanical equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and improve safety during operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment (toolbox meetings, job safety analysis, risk assessment and work permit).
• Complete required reporting related to inspections and maintenance activities (daily reports, final reports at the end of the works, handover reports).
• Keep stock of spare parts / materials stock up to date.
• Lead the operation and maintenance of bunkering, fuel purification and fuel tank activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

• Minimum of Secondary School Education (WASSCE, NECO or equivalent).
• OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Mechanical).

Candidate criteria:

• Minimum level of education required: 1 – High School diploma
• Minimum level of experience required: 6-10 years
• Languages: English (4 – Professional ++++).
