African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML), established by African Industries Group, operates a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna state—the first of its kind in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Responsible for fitting, assembling, repairing and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment in the utility department to ensure optimal performance

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical fitting, installation, and alignment of pumps, valves and piping systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Repair or replace defective component and mechanical seals
• Assist in overhauling utility machines such as compressors, pumps and gearboxes.
• Fabricate and install pipe supports, brackets and fittings as required
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures

Requirements

• Technical Certificate, OND, or Trade Test in Mechanical or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in fitting, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.
• Good knowledge of alignment, welding basics, and use of hand and power tools.
