Job Title: Mechanical Fabricator

Job Description

• Prepare and assemble mechanical systems and components for various projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the necessary materials and processes.
• Fabricate, modify, and repair machinery, equipment, and structural components using tools and machines.
• Utilize welding techniques and equipment to join metal parts and ensure structural integrity.
• Conduct quality inspections on fabricated components to ensure they meet required specifications and standards.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, ensuring safety in accordance with workplace regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize fabrication processes.
• Participate in the development of new fabrication techniques and the continuous improvement of existing ones.
• Document all fabrication processes and maintain accurate records of materials used.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures while performing tasks.

Requirements

• HND / OND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in mechanical fabrication or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to operate and maintain various fabrication tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to mechanical fabrication.
