Job Title: Mechanical Engineers / Mechanic

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking sound and experienced Mechanical Engineers/Mechanics to oversee and coordinate servicing, repair and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• This role requires a proactive professional capable of conducting, supervising and ensuring that all company equipment and machinery utilised in various infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, etc., are regularly serviced and maintained in a state of good repair, as weil as ensuring compliance with machinery safety regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical issues in machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive servicing to avoid breakdowns.
• Repair or replace faulty mechanical components, including engines, gears, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ensure proper lubrication and calibration of moving parts.
• Supervise and execute the installation of mechanical systems in plants, buildings, and vehicles.
• Assemble and test mechanical components before deployment.
• Ensure compliance with engineering blueprints and industry standards.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
• Prepare technical reports, manuals, and work logs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 2* Class Honours (Upper
• Division).
• HND/Diploma or relevant vocational certification in machine repair and handling or any related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with/on heavy-duty machines.
• HSE Certification and COREN certification are added advantages.
• Excellent problem-solving and project managementsklls.
• Professional engineering license (added advantage),
• Able to work with little or no supervision.
