Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Supervisor)

Location: Ijebu-Mushin, Ogun

Job Overview

• We seek motivated Production Personnel with at least 5 years and above experience as a Mechanical Supervisor.
• This role supports production output, team management and compliance with standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, check and monitor all mechanical maintenance activities or breakdown repairs.
• Must be a hands-on supervisor doing maintenance work while coordinating with the maintenance team and Technical Manager.
• Reports daily jobs completed, ongoing maintenance activities, Unsafe machinery and any action or behaviour noticed during work hours.
• Carry out mechanical preventive Maintenance and breakdown repairs on the Dumping conveyor, elevator and other mechanical equipment within the factory.
• Ensure at all times that, Dust, Steam, Water and Air leakages are prevented, repaired or stopped urgently.
• Able to work independently most of the time but also as a Team during Scheduled maintenance days.
• Work closely with the Technical Manager one mechanical issue not solved within one hour by the Team and additional resources are required.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Eng / HND qualification with 5 years of work experience.
• Male preferably
• Not more than 45 years
• Experience managing or supervising a team is a must.
• Experience working in a production environment is a plus.
• Ability to work independently
• Must be physically/medically fit.
