About the Role

• We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute our marketing initiatives in Nigeria. Based onsite in Ikeja, Lagos, this role is ideal for a marketing leader with a solid track record in the fintech or financial services sector.
• You will be responsible for driving product visibility, customer acquisition, retention, and brand growth across multiple channels. Reporting directly to the Country Head, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our marketing strategy supports business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end marketing strategies for fintech products (e.g., digital payments, wallets, loans)
• Plan and execute digital campaigns (SEO, SEM, paid media, email marketing, content marketing)
• Oversee go-to-market planning for new product features and launches
• Manage performance marketing and analyze key metrics to measure ROI
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, sales, compliance) to align messaging and positioning
• Lead market research initiatives to understand customer behavior and market trends
• Build and maintain brand identity and customer engagement across touchpoints
• Manage vendor relationships, marketing budgets, and external agencies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CBN, NDPR) in all communications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant marketing experience, with at least 3 years in fintech or financial services
• Proven experience managing digital marketing campaigns and driving measurable growth
• Strong knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data into actionable strategy
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or certifications in marketing or digital strategy
• Experience working in high-growth startups or scaling tech products
• Familiarity with financial regulations and marketing compliance standards in Nigeria
• Team leadership or mentorship experience is a plus
