Job Title: Mandarin Translator

Location: Jos, Plateau

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Mandarin Translator fluent in English, Mandarin, and Hausa to facilitate seamless communication during meetings, business negotiations, and daily interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation between English, Mandarin, and Hausa during business meetings, negotiations, and site discussions.
• Translate documents, contracts, and reports accurately, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Assist Chinese nationals in communicating with local employees, government officials, and partners.
• Ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy in all translations.
• Support company leadership in written and verbal communication as needed.

Requirements

• Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Hausa (spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 3 years experience
• Proven experience as a translator/interpreter, preferably in the mining, construction, or industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of business negotiation terms and industry-related terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Candidate must reside in Jos, plateau

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in mining, engineering, or business is an advantage.
• Previous experience working with Chinese companies or executives.
• Strong understanding of local cultural and business practices.

Remuneration
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly (Basedon experience).
