We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Makeup Artist

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Deliver premium makeup services for walk-in clients, events, and bookings
• Conduct consultations to recommend suitable looks and products
• Maintain strict hygiene standards: sanitize tools, workstations, and product testers daily
• Drive retail sales by demonstrating products and upselling complementary items
• Support inventory checks for kits and studio products; flag restock needs to supervisor
• Represent the brand professionally at in-store events, activations, and masterclasses
• Keep portfolio updated and participate in ongoing training on new trends/products.

Requirements

• Possess an HND / B.Sc Degree in any field and a minimum of 3 years professional experience as a makeup artist in beauty studios, retail, or bridal
• NYSC Certificate or an Exemption Letter
• Relevant certification in Makeup Artistry
• Strong portfolio showcasing bridal, soft glam, editorial, and traditional looks
• Excellent knowledge of luxury makeup brands, skin tones, hygiene, and product application
• Proven experience with client consultation, colour matching, and aftercare advice
• Strong sales ability — comfortable recommending products and hitting service targets
• Excellent customer service, time management, and ability to work weekends/holidays
• Must reside in Abuja central.
