Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Technician – Electrical to support electrical maintenance operations across its poultry farms.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring the reliable operation of farm equipment to minimise downtime and support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment across poultry farms.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, pumps, fans, lighting systems, generators, and other farm equipment.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, control circuits, wiring, and distribution boards.
• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential electrical faults before they cause breakdowns.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, spare parts usage, and equipment faults.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company procedures, and housekeeping requirements.

Requirements

• OND, HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant electrical maintenance experience, preferably in poultry farms, agriculture, or manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of electrical installations, motors, pumps, control panels, and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work on-site and respond to maintenance emergencies when required.
