Job Title: Maintenance Officer

Location: Jabi, Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities

• Inspections and Assessments: Performing regular site visits to inspect buildings and grounds, identifying potential issues, and assessing the need for repairs.
• General Repairs: Handling minor repairs, such as painting, tiling, plastering, carpentry, plumbing, and landscaping.
• Contractor Management: Liaising with external contractors to ensure repairs and servicing are carried out to a satisfactory standard and within budget.
• Preventive Maintenance: Adhering to and managing preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities to prevent malfunctions.
• Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promptly reporting any safety hazards or issues.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs and records of maintenance activities, using asset management software to track work orders and inventory.
• Groundskeeping: Undertaking general grounds maintenance, including mowing, weeding, watering, and keeping car parks and entrances clear and safe.
• Building and Equipment Maintenance: Conducting routine repairs and maintenance on facilities, grounds, equipment, and plant infrastructure.

Requirement

• Interested candidates should possess SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.
