Job Title: Maintenance / Facility Supervisor

Job Summary

• The Maintenance Supervisor manages the daily activities of the maintenance department, ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and facilities are maintained in safe and efficient working condition.
• This role supervises maintenance staff, schedules maintenance work, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure timely repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with production or operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist in preparing maintenance budgets and controlling maintenance costs.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
